Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: To be negotiated

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Kamloops, British Columbia, British Columbia (5 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Emergency First Response Course, Driver's licence


Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Driver's Record: Driver's abstract


Specific Skills: Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment, Administer pre-hospital emergency care, Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care, Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided, Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary, Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence


Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Working with others, Decision making, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory
